Streetscape

This is a typical streetscape along the older parts of Bloor St W away from the areas near Yonge St that are being taken over by condos. There is something much more charming about these small eclectic shops and the people wandering around. This was taken on a Sunday morning when the streets were quiet. That guy on the far right was using the free wifi from the restaurant he was standing in front of.

Most towns and cities have an area like that, but they are slowly being gobbled up. Eventually, when they've nearly all gone, there'll be moves to preserve them.

Much more appealing than yet another condo tower.

This is a great street scene and I love the name of that shop "The Dog Next Door".

There's a lot of interesting shops along Bloor St. Some of them have been there for long time.

Street photography is not as easy as it looks. You have a great one here.
