An Old Ride

I went to an Open House at the TTC yards a few weeks ago and they were using this old streetcar from 1923 to give people free rides from the subway station at Bathurst St. I'll show you another view tomorrow.

Quite a classic.

Note the "People Catcher" underneath close to the front used to catch a person that fell under. It would close like a clam shell on them to prevent going under the wheels

It is a beautiful streetcar. Baltimore has a streetcar museum, I think they may give rides too. Take care, enjoy your day!
