Most of the laneway houses are built on narrow lots and have replaced smallish garages. This one was built on a wider lot and so there was space to make a nice entrance way while the usual entrance for these is a door directly out onto the lane. This one looks so nice in comparison. There is still always a vehicle parked in front.

Interesting architecture.
I like the way the door has been recessed so the owner won't be standing in the rain while unlocking the door. The wood is beautiful.
This is an interesting contemporary design. I would love to see the inside, but I know that is not possible unless you know the owners.
