A Golden Time of Year

Late summer is a beautiful time of year in the garden and at flower shops all over town where bunches of sunflowers are for sale. These yellow flowers were aglow at James Gardens when I was there last week.

Your Toronto is a beautiful town. Have been watching Cash cab and marveling at the beautiful city. Only the names of the streets are familiar, the CN tower, and your beautiful renditions of the older housing stock and sections which I enjoy very much, Pat. Aloha and thank you.

It seems they are trying even harder this year than usual.

The yellow coneflowers (rudbeckia) do better than the pink ones (echinacea) at this time of year.
