A Different Laneway Sighting

Not all the garages and buildings in our laneways are painted with lovely murals as this door shows you but I find something intriguing about it. You wonder why there would be such a door on a laneway running through a residential area. Was there a small business operating here years ago? A mystery?

It does not look like a residential area, with the metal door.
Take care, have a great day!

...a car certainly won't fit!

The door looks secure, but the graffiti scribble is just a mess. Too bad people do this.

Urban decay comes to mind.

It does have a mysterious look to it. The taggers have been busy in this spot.

Areas change. A business moves out. The new one don't need the backdoor. But if you give a street artist the chance, they could paint up this one in a day or two.

It could get interesting with some intervention!

I think it must be where they kept the prisoners.

Looks quite nice for the decayed look

Looks a bit scary to me. Even without the taggings. I wonder what people drives to "mark" their area like "dogs" - drugs?
Also what might be behind? The door only starts at the second row of the bricks. A spooky mystery...
