Good Things For The Community

Tim Hortons is the most popular coffee & donut place in the country and they do a lot of good works in the community. They sponsor hundreds of kids' hockey teams and support camps for kids. Their smile cookie campaign takes place on one day when all the money from the sales of the cookies go to charities. I don't drink coffee but do admire all of the good things they do.

That is a fine sign on the side of that truck. We don't have Tim Hortons, and that is too bad. I like coffee and donuts.

A Canadian icon although no longer a Canadian company. ☹️

Sounds like they do good work. I don't drink coffee either but I'd stop in for one of those cookies.

...Tim Horton is a Canadian legend who died 50 years ago last month. I wonder how many customers know who he was, particularly in the US?

Some companies do good work giving back.

Yeah, Tim Horton seems to be one of Canada's treasures. I'm so excited to see your spring pictures as they bloom, Pat! Aloha

It is very important for a company to give back to the community. If they all did... Thanks for the post!!

That's good to hear about Tim Hortons. A few times we queued with many office workers for coffee in York Street when we stayed at the Royal York. The coffee must have decent or it would have been only one visit.
