Ready For Spring

These ladies look to be in fine condition and ready for the spring ahead. I don't think there was ever any ice on their pond this year - at least not yet.

We still have SOME ice on the Mississippi, but now a lot.

How unusual for a pond in Toronto not to freeze over in winter. Our lakes all froze over, but a few ponds keep aerators running to keep open water for both fish and bird health.

They are cute, maybe they will have dozens of ducklings soon?

Thanks for saying that about "mirror" vs. "window". I'm pretty certain it got changed at some point.

They are enjoying the day, and hopefully we are headed towards spring with no wintry weather to slow things down.
