Another ghost sign, this one found near Bathurst and Queen St W on a building which now houses studios and small offices but at one time was the home of Beare's Limited. They were a major supplier of things like nibs for pens and assorted other stationery products that have since disappeared. The building has been nicely upgraded with thermal windows which must have come in handy this winter.

I do love these old ghost signs.
It was nice they left the old signage to be enjoyed for years to come. I can't imagine a truck backing up to that loading dock though.
Nice to see a little history about the building in it's signage.
I love thinking about times past Pat and these ghost signs have always fascinated me.
p.s. I know your winter has been overlong but soon you will be showing blue skies and me grey, I hope so anyway :)
Every time I see a ghost sign around here I remember of your pictures! ;-)
I love coming across ghost signs. This one is great!
You've just reminded me that I need to photograph one in Versailles. I love them too and this one is great, I also like the old brick building.
For a second, I thought that the person was a colleague!
I don't believe in ghost but do believe in ghost signs. I'm also old enough to have used a nib in school along with an inkwell.
I love the old ghost signs, and this is a good one. Too bad they couldn't have switched to computer printer ribbons.
I always like seeing these sorts of ghost signs.
I think ghost signs are very interesting.
Nice find, I always enjoy a wander round an old fashioned stationers. What are thermal windows?
Beautiful building and the sign is still readable wish these building will be there forever.
I like the look of the building. It's quite familiar... I've no doubt walked past it.
I love your ghost sign ... One of my goals is to find and photo my own.
Cool building and a wonderful sign.
That really is a nice building. Would make for some great art studios.
Those signs have great resilience. Still proud and clear.
Always good to see these old signs, and I notice there is no snow in this photo!
The old signs have a way of taking my imagination back in time trying to imagine what it might have been like there when the sign was new.
I like this. It has a lot more interest and charm with the ghost sign than if the developers had removed it.
I love ghost signs! These are great examples.
