Hiding In The Leaves
Perhaps this is one that I will have to return to in the winter when all the leaves on the trees and ivy aren't hiding this lovely Rosedale home. The Cardinal from a few days ago was just around the corner from here - nice place to roost!

It's a beautiful house. There's a face in that tree, yes, I'm seeing things (I think I had too much sugar yesterday, went to a kid's birthday party)... ;-)
I see the 'tree face' also and I'm not even on a sugar high :) Love this grand old home Pat.
Nice!
love all the ivy!
It is a lovely home and I know exactly what you mean about the added privacy that comes in the summer months.
Plenty of privacy here already with the trees, the fence, the gate, the hedge . . . Sheesh! They probably even have security cameras.
Another beauty!
Oh gosh I think I like this one even better. It reminds me of a rectory for some odd reason... Perhaps because I'm watching BBC period drama at the moment and I see Jane Eyres and Lizzy Bennetts everywhere!
This neighborhood reminds of Shaughnessy, Vancouver where the big fancy homes are. Life all that ivy covering the house.
An imposing looking residence.
It's an impressive place... and you should return in other seasons.
I wonder if it keeps their house cool.
I can wait, but... Doesn't all that ivy kind of mess up the brickwork? Sure is pretty, though.
Re your comment on Ocala: We've got all kinds of southern Redneck, tobacco-chewing cowboy types down here who hang out in such places! :)
I love a house covered in ivy! My husband did some work inside some Rosedale homes, he said they are unbelievably gorgeous inside.
Also a pretty one, but I don't think there are any "ugly" houses in Rosedale. :)
Very grand indeed. A house from another world.
Beautiful place!
I bet that house is beautiful inside!
Love façades covered with vines.
I like the ivy that covers it!!
