The Greenhouse

After finding the grounds at Spadina House closed, which I mentioned in yesterday's post, I went back another day and did tour the snowy area. I've always loved this greenhouse which grows a lot of the flowers that are later planted throughout the gardens surrounding the house.

It stands out well in the snow.

It is a perfect little greenhouse. I wonder how warm it is inside.

If there is a bit of supplemental heat in the greenhouse, this is a perfect time to plant some seeds to get a start on the growing season. Sunshine should keep the greenhouse warm during the day. It is a beautiful building.

It's an elegant shape. We have snow falling as I write - though I suspect it won't settle for long.
