St Mary's

This is St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church - Residence, found near Bloor St and Ossington Ave. I could find no information about the church and have no idea what the "residence" means but I do love the structure with all those copper-coverd domes and crosses. There was a cornerstone saying that it was constructed in 1964. I took the pic this week when we had snow and will show a close-up of the mosaic tomorrow.
Taking part in Inspired Sunday. Click here for more religious buildings.
Happy Easter to all who celebrate it!

R. P, what an appropriate photo for current events in the Ukraine, and for Easter. Beautiful church.

What a great building, it's modern and yet has retained that old world charm.

It's a beautiful example of modern Orthodox. What's happening in the Ukraine is so frightening...

I like the look of this church and love the angle you chose to photograph it from.

Amazing building Pat.. Even more amazing that you're still having snow, is that normal for this time of year ?

There's something so appealing about onion domes.

A dusting of snow? I think you deserve some blue skies and warmth. (Nice looking church.)

The newer modern style is very inspiring. I like it! Thanks for sharing in InSPIREd Sunday. I am late in reading all of the wonderful posts.
